A round globe is a different category of globe to a standard GLS. The everyday A60 is about function: it fits a fitting, it provides light, it disappears. A G80, G95, or G125 round globe is about presence. It occupies a fitting in a way that contributes to the room's aesthetic, and the quality of both its form and its light needs to match that role.
Dulora's round globe range covers G80, G95, and G125 sizes in warm and extra warm colour temperatures with CRI 90 to 97+. Each globe renders warm tones, textures, and colour with an accuracy that standard CRI 80 globes cannot match, in a form that looks as good unlit as it does when it's on.
Mirror Crown and Gold Crown variants reduce glare for exposed-globe pendant applications, where the globe itself is part of the design. All models dim smoothly from 1 to 100 per cent with Dulora's DimEzy range LED Light Dimmers. Oversized statement models are available in the Oversized Globes collection for large-format applications.

Round Globes: The Statement Globe for Fittings That Are Meant to Be Seen
What makes a round globe different from a standard GLS?
The G-number in a globe designation refers to its diameter in millimetres. A G80 is 80mm in diameter, a G95 is 95mm, and a G125 is 125mm, compared to around 60mm for a standard A60 GLS globe. That size difference changes the visual character of the fitting completely.
A round globe in a pendant or floor lamp does not disappear into the fitting. It sits there with visual weight, catching light across its full curved surface and contributing to the atmosphere of the room even when turned off. If you're choosing a globe for a fitting where the globe is visible, a round globe is almost always the better choice over a standard GLS.
Which round globe size should I choose?
The right size depends on the scale of the fitting and the room. A G80 at 80mm is the most versatile, working well in medium pendants, standard floor lamps, and fittings where a large globe would look oversized. A G95 at 95mm is the sweet spot for statement pendants and feature floor lamps, large enough to have real presence but proportionate in most residential spaces. A G125 at 125mm is for large pendants, high-ceiling spaces, and architectural fittings where a smaller globe would be lost.
As a rough guide: if the fitting is designed to show the globe, choose the largest size that fits without touching the shade or housing. For an exposed-pendant application, err on the larger side.
What are Mirror Crown and Gold Crown globes?
Mirror Crown and Gold Crown globes have a reflective metallic coating on the upper portion of the globe. This coating redirects light downward and reduces glare for pendant and task applications where the globe is exposed at or near eye level.
The Mirror Crown (silver) produces a cooler, more minimal aesthetic. The Gold Crown produces a warmer effect and suits pendants where a warm finish complements the fitting hardware. Both variants are available in G95 and G125 sizes. They are not necessary in fittings where the globe sits behind a diffuser or shade.
