Fancy round globes are the detail that lifts a room without demanding attention. Small enough to sit neatly in compact fittings, round enough to catch the light across their full surface, they work quietly in the spaces where atmosphere builds rather than announces itself.
Dulora's G45 range is available across E14 fancy round globe, E27 fancy round globe, B22 fancy round globe, and B15 bases, covering the fittings found in bedside lamps, ceiling lights Ceiling Lights, and pendant lights Modern Pendant LED Globes throughout the home. Each G45 globe is engineered to CRI 90+ across the 240V dimmable range, rendering warm tones and room colour with an accuracy that standard CRI 80 globes cannot match.
Mirror Crown and Gold Crown G45 variants are available for exposed-globe applications where a reflective finish reduces glare while adding visual interest. 24V DC models are also available for low-voltage festoon and outdoor applications. For the full application guide, see Fancy Round Globes: The Buying Guide.

Fancy Round Globes: The Small Globe That Changes a Room
What makes a G45 fancy round globe different from a candle globe?
The G45 is a globe-shaped globe with a diameter of 45mm, available in small Edison screw and bayonet bases. Where a candle globe has a tapered form that suits chandeliers, sconces, and fittings where the globe is meant to be seen pointing upward, a fancy round globe has a full rounded form that works better in bedside lamps, small pendants, and ceiling fittings where the globe sits inside or below a shade.
The two shapes also diffuse light differently. A candle globe directs more of its output upward through its tip; a fancy round globe distributes light more evenly across its full surface, making it a better choice for fittings where soft, even illumination from a compact source is the goal.
Which base does my fitting need?
Fancy round fittings in New Zealand homes typically use one of four bases. E14 is the small Edison screw at 14mm, the most common fitting for compact bedside lamps and decorative ceiling pendants. E27 is the standard Edison screw at 27mm, used in larger pendants and floor lamps. B22 is the bayonet cap, the traditional push-and-turn connection common in older New Zealand properties. B15 is the small bayonet at 15mm, found in compact lamps where a standard B22 socket would be oversized.
Pull out the existing globe and check the markings on the base before ordering. The bases are not interchangeable and the small Edison screws are easy to confuse with each other. For base-specific browsing, see E14 LED Light Globes.
Can I use a fancy round globe in a festoon or outdoor string light?
Yes. Dulora's 24V DC fancy round models are specifically designed for festoon and outdoor string light applications. The 24V specification keeps the system voltage safe for outdoor use and makes the installation compliant with New Zealand electrical requirements for outdoor festoon lighting.
For the full outdoor festoon range, see Festoon Lights and Festoon Globes.
