The dimmable 5.5W Candle LED Bulb B22 Frost replaces a traditional 60W incandescent with 806 lumens of 2700K warm white light, gently diffused through a frosted glass envelope that takes the brightness down to something comfortable without taking the warmth with it. The Frosted Effect
The frosted finish diffuses the LED filament array into a smooth, even glow that radiates softly from every surface of the bulb. At 60W-equivalent output, that diffusion is what separates this bulb from a clear glass alternative: rather than directing a bright point of light toward the viewer, the frosted surface spreads the output evenly in every direction, making the room feel fuller and more relaxed. In pendant lights and ceiling fixtures where the bulb is often visible from seated eye level, the frosted finish eliminates the harshness that a clear glass candle can create at close range. Inside fabric and paper lampshades, the frosted glass prevents the filament from casting visible shadows against the shade material.
